The Food Pyramid




     The food pyramid is an excellent tool to help people make healthy food choices and can help people choose from a variety of foods, so people get the nutrients that needed. The pyramid shows us how much we need to eat from each food group. To get the nutrient we need, eat these foods everyday. Food pyramid includes five food groups, oils, and physical activity. We also can know which nutrients our body gets from each food group.
The five food groups is grain, vegetables, fruits, dairy foods, and meat. Grain foods contain carbohydrate and B-vitamins which help turn the foods we eat into energy that  our bodies need to work, play, and grow. Vegetables are rich in nutrients, such as Vitamin C which our body needs to work properly and Vitamin A which help us have healthy skin and good eyesight. Fruits provide Vitamin C which helps our bodies heal and grow new cells. Dairy foods provide calcium and mineral which helps build strong bones and teeth. Meat, beans, and nuts provide protein which helps buil strong muscle.
Oils are not a food group, but we should unclude some vegetable oils, fish, or nuts in our food choices each day. Oils are fats that are liquid at room temperature, like the vegetable oils used in cooking. Oils come from many different plants and from fish. Some oils are used mainly as flavorings such as walnut oil and sesame oil. There are foods naturally high in oils like nuts, olives, some fish, and avocados.
Physical activity simply means movement of the body that uses energy. Walking, gardening, climbing the stairs, playing soccer, or dancing the night away are all good examples of being active. For health benefits, physical activity should be vigorous and add up to at least 30 minutes a day. Take it one step at a time. Instead of the elevator, take the stairs to add a bit of extra activity into our routine.
Our bodies are unique, complicated machines. Foods is our fuel. It gives us energy, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that keep us running smoothly. Each group on the pyramid contains certain nutrients. If we eat foods from each group we’ll be sure to get all the nutrients we need. There’s a lot to know about food and nutrition. Knowing about the food guide pyramid gives us a good start at having a balanced diet and living a healthy life style.

Who am I?



I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden. I will push you onward or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command. Half the things you do you might just as well turn over to me and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.

I am easily managed – you must merely be firm with me. Show me exactly how you want something done and after a few lessons I will do it automatically. I am not a machine, though I work with all the precision of a machine plus the intelligence of a human. You may run me for a profit or run me for ruin – it makes no different to me.

Take me, train me, be firm with me, and I will place the world at your feet. Be easy with me and I will destroy you.

Sel Prokariotik, Sel Eukariotik, dan Membran Sel

           Pada tahun 1665 Robert Hook meneliti melalui mikroskop benda kecil, dia menamakannya sel karena mengingatkannya pada ruangan kosong di biara (re: cells). Lebih dari seabad setelahnya, ketika para biologis sudah mempunyai akses ke mikroskop yang lebih maju, mereka menemukan bahwa sel tidaklah kosong tapi berisi cairan lengket. Mereka menyebutnya protoplasma, berarti unsure dari kehidupan.
            Sekarang kita tahu bahwa sel terdiri dari berbagai unsure dan berisi struktur kecil dan partikel yang disebut organel, yang mempunyai fungsi penting. Material hidup dari sel masih dikenal dengan protoplasma. Itu terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu sitoplasma yang berada di luar nukleus dan nukleuplasma yang berada di dalam nucleus. Variasi dari sitoplasma dan nukleuplasma membuat sel dapat hidup dan terus berproduksi.

Teroris

Jadi ceritanya hari ini ada acara keluarga di rumah Bude, tiba-tiba ketika suasana emang lagi beneran sepi, keluar pertanyaan yang mengejutkan. Hahaa aku gak tau bude tau darimana, tapi yang jelas jawabanku cukup membuat bude mengeluarkan statement yang entah lucu atau memojokkan.
Bude Ani: katanya kamu udah dilamar? 
Aku: ah ga tau, ak ga suka.. 
Bude Ani: orangnya jenggotan gak? 
Aku: iyaaa.. 
Bude Ani: celananya cingkrang ga? 
Aku: iya. bajunya gobor-gobor. 
Bude Ani: wah, jangan mau itu. calon teroris..
Aku cuman bisa ketawa mesam mesem :))

Perawat Bukan Pembantu Dokter


Perawat bukan pembantu dokter. Memang tidak ada yang secara terang-terangan mengatakan bahwa perawat adalah pembantu atau asisten dokter, tetapi kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pekerjaan perawat membuat sebagian besar masyarakat masih merasa bahwa perawat adalah pekerjaan yang tugasnya membantu dokter sebagai bawahan atau asisten.
